Govinder started his artistic life as a highly successful greeting card designer but after many years of doing this, he felt he was ready to move toward fine art.
In his aim to achieve this, he started working on large canvases in oil paint, which he moved around the canvas with only his fingers. Govinder certainly needed time to develop his now inimitable style, but you could tell from those first paintings that here was an artist whose career was about to take off.
